This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from you, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. Please read it carefully before purchasing or using our Software.

1. WHO WE ARE

EES Resources LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a Colorado-based business. We develop and sell a Microsoft Excel add-in ("Software") on a subscription basis. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website, checkout process, and any communications you have with us.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the information necessary to process your purchase, fulfill your subscription, and provide customer support. We do not collect data from inside the Software itself, which runs fully offline on your device.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you purchase a subscription or create an account, we collect:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Mailing address

  • Phone number

  • Payment information (processed securely by LemonSqueezy — see Section 4)

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

Because the Software operates entirely offline on your local device:

  • We do not collect any data about how you use the Software

  • We do not access, read, or transmit any files or spreadsheets you work with

  • We do not install tracking code or telemetry within the Software itself

2.3 Website and Analytics Data

Our website does not currently use analytics or tracking tools. Should we add analytics (such as Google Analytics) in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you by email at least 30 days prior to implementation.

2.4 Automatically Collected Technical Data

When you visit our website, standard web server logs may automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues and is not linked to your personal identity.

2.5 Geolocation Data (via Cryptlex)

We use Cryptlex to manage software license activation and enforcement. As part of this process, Cryptlex may collect geolocation data (such as your approximate geographic location based on IP address) associated with your device at the time of license activation. This data is used solely to verify license compliance and enforce single-device licensing restrictions. We do not use this data to track your physical movements. 3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To process your subscription purchase and manage billing

  • To create and manage your account

  • To deliver the Software and any purchased updates or upgrades

  • To send order confirmations, receipts, and subscription renewal notices

  • To send marketing and promotional emails about our products (see Section 6 for opt-out rights)

  • To respond to your support requests and questions

  • To enforce our End User License Agreement (EULA) and Terms and Conditions

  • To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

4.1 LemonSqueezy

All payment transactions are processed by LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor. When you complete a purchase, you submit your payment details directly to LemonSqueezy— we do not receive or store your raw card data on our servers.

LemonSqueezy acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase and maintains its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their privacy policy at: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy

4.2 Other Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with any other third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.

4.3 Cryptlex

We use Cryptlex as our software license management provider. Cryptlex may collect device identifiers and geolocation data for the purpose of license activation and enforcement. This data is governed by Cryptlex's own privacy policy, which you can review at: https://cryptlex.com/privacy

5. HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

5.1 Data Storage

Your personal information (name, email, mailing address, phone number) is stored securely in our systems. We retain your information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required to fulfill legal, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations.

5.2 Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) on our website and checkout

  • Limited access to personal data — only personnel who need it to perform their job functions may access it

  • Use of reputable, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

5.3 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your subscription is active. Following cancellation or termination, we retain data for up to three (3) years for accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

6. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

If you have purchased a subscription, we may send you promotional emails about product updates, new features, special offers, and other information about our Software. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by emailing us at support@wellboregenie.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe"

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we will still send you transactional emails related to your account, such as order confirmations, receipts, and subscription renewal notices. These cannot be opted out of while your subscription is active.

7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. As a US-based company serving primarily US customers, we honor the following rights for all users:

7.1 Right to Access

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at support@wellboregenie.com. We will respond as quickly as possible.

7.2 Right to Correction

If any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that we correct it by contacting us directly via email.

7.3 Right to Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor such requests to the extent permitted by law. Please note that we may need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, or resolve disputes.

7.4 Right to Opt Out of Marketing

You may opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time, as described in Section 6 above.

7.5 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

8. COOKIES

Our website does not currently use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. Standard session cookies may be used by our checkout provider (LemonSqueezy) solely to facilitate the purchase transaction. If we implement cookies on our website in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide appropriate notice.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Software and website are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@wellboregenie.com and we will promptly delete such information.

10. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as LemonSqueezy’s checkout page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the Effective Date at the top of this policy

  • Send an email notification to the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the change takes effect

Your continued use of the Software or our website after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this Privacy Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of our End User License Agreement.
